DM Enterprise utilizes advanced and refined coke oven technology that has been carefully developed and optimized to meet modern industrial standards.

The coke ovens deployed by DM Enterprise are of the non-recovery type, designed to ensure efficient and uniform carbonization. A controlled and optimized combustion process of volatile gases takes place within a closed chamber, utilizing preheated primary and secondary air for maximum thermal efficiency.

The system is engineered such that hot gases are effectively channeled through strategically placed downcomers into specially designed flues located beneath the oven floor. Additional preheated air is introduced at calculated intervals to ensure complete combustion, resulting in improved energy utilization and consistent coke quality.

The coke ovens used by DM Enterprise are advanced and improved systems designed to meet modern industrial requirements. These ovens are based on proven technology and have been further refined to ensure high efficiency and consistent performance. They are of the non-recovery type, where efficient carbonization is achieved through controlled combustion of volatile matter within a closed chamber using preheated primary and secondary air. This process enhances fuel efficiency while maintaining environmental standards.
The coal charge inside the oven is heated uniformly from the top, sides, and bottom, ensuring multi-dimensional heating and consistent coke formation. The hot gases generated during the process are directed through downcomers in the oven walls into specially designed flues beneath the oven sole, where additional preheated air is introduced at controlled points. This ensures complete and uniform combustion, leading to higher thermal efficiency and improved coke quality.
The waste gases from the flues are passed through a waste heat tunnel running along the length of the battery on the pusher side before being released through a tall stack of approximately 140 to 155 feet. This system ensures clean, smokeless emissions and environmentally responsible operation. Several batteries based on this design have been operating successfully for over two decades, demonstrating proven reliability and efficiency. The latest ovens installed by DM Enterprise are designed with modern specifications, including a length of around 52 feet, width of 12 feet, and coal charging capacity of up to 55 tons.
Extensive studies conducted by reputed institutions such as Tata Iron & Steel, RDCIS of SAIL, and other leading organizations have confirmed that coke produced using this technology possesses superior physical strength and excellent chemical properties, including high CRI and CSR values. The flexibility of this technology allows the use of a wide range of coals, including low-volatile coking coals, enabling DM Enterprise to supply different grades of coke tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
